When do you think this type of acne will go away?

Question: When do you think this type of acne will go away?
I developed some large breakout about three months ago after being on chinese herbal medicine. They are small bumps with red undertone and was itchy, stinging kind of feeling. As time pass, it starts to tone down and become less red and itchy.

Finally went to see a dermatologist and she couldn’t tell me the reason what causes it but just diagnosed me as a case of acne. She presribed me doxycycline 100mg to take twice a day. I have been on it for two weeks already, I have seen some improvement, but the most severe area around the back of my cheeks are still about the same. When will I begin to see them going away because they are still giving me tingling sensation sometimes?

The dermatologist only prescribed me 2 months worth of doxycycline, I am not sure if I need to be on it longer than that? I need to graduate in June so I want to it fix soon since I never have major breakout before. Thanks.
