What kind of products can I use to get rid of my pregnacy acne?

Question: What kind of products can I use to get rid of my pregnacy acne?
I’m 17 weeks pregnant and read that most acne medicines are bad for you, or they don’t know how they affect the baby. I’m getting married in 6 weeks and I keep getting acne. I don’t want to have my photos taken with a huge pimple on my chin. Any herbal remidies that I can try that won’t be harmful to the baby?

White toothpaste or white stick deoderant work very well. Either one will dry up the spots real quick. Greatest wishes and congratulations!!

Stop intaking sugar and caffine. Drink megaloads of water and take niacin to flush your system out.

put normal old fashioned toothpaste on each big zit at night… it’ll be gone the next morning…

Also, many herbal remidies are untested and can actually do more damage then traditional meds. Consult a DR before you try anything herbal.

(Just because it’s from nature doesn’t mean it’s good for you or your baby. For example, cocaine and pot are all natural. Yet neither one is good for you.)

you could try diluted tea tree oil.. or my favorite- use toothpaste!! put a spot of toothpaste over a pimple at night and it’l dry it out by morning lol got that one from jackie chan and jennifer love hewit hehe.. also buy capsules of vitamin e oil or any vitamin e oil, and they’r great for your skin and you can use it on your tummy too for stretch marks :)

toothpaste- (dot on pimple and let crust over). works over night. works better with plain PASTE and not a gel paste.

honey- honey is a natural anti-bacterial. bacteria need air to survive. honey blocks air from feeding the bacteria and clears it up

Baking Soda- use baking soda in the shower, in the mornings, to wash your face. it’s a natural pH balancer, and a very slight exfoliant

Face Wash- use the absolute simplest, gentlest face wash out there. anything harsh (like glycolic acids, benzoyl p., salycylic acid) will prompt a reaction from your skin, usually making it produce more oil. a really good one is called Cocoon – and it’s actually a baby wash, with no parabens, propylene glycol, or preservatives. find it at http://www.enfusia.com... (or at wholefoods)

Tea tree and Lavender oil- if you have oily skin, STILL wash gently, and use TEA TREE oil and/or lavender oil as a toner to calm everything down.

Strawberry Leaves-Place Strawberry leaves on the acne, the alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling.

Egg Whites-Dab egg white on your pimple and leave on for at least 20 minutes preferably overnight, this is supposed to “Suck Out” the “Nasty Stuff”

Vinegar-First wash face and then dab acne with cotton balls soaked in vinegar.

I’ve used most of these from one time of another through ALL my pregnancies!
