What is the best makeup to cover acne?
Question: What is the best makeup to cover acne? Dance is about despite my valiant efforts I have yet acne. In fact, getting worse after starting to take some Chinese herbs that my acupuncturist gave me … she did not tell me what is in them though. Yah So what is the best makeup to cover small shut pores on the face and acne on the chest, neck and back. Should I use this type of spray for my body acne and some very thick for my face? Any suggestions? (The drugstore brands only please!) Oh, and I like “detox” 10 days before by intake only vegetable soup and some fruit? Does that help? Greatest answer:

Okay, first off whoever told you to “detox” by having vegetable soup and fruit is kind of…wrong. The best thing that will clear up your skin is to drink plenty of water throughout the day, atleast 6-8 glasses of it. Also, wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face a lot.
As for covering up acne, I usually use liquid concealer for my face, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on your back too. I use Invisible Concealer by Cover Girl.
Get a concealer that matches your complexion. They sell them at wat-mart and everywhere that sells makeup. I love Cover Girl
I like Make Up For Ever (find it at sephora or if you live in NY then you’ll be able to go to the boutique in Union Square, Manhattan) and MAC (any macys). Also Make up for ever has a artist body line which is wonderful and it is comming from France! pretty good brand. Also clinique! no one can beat clinique when talking about skin care
How old are you?
Usually, Spots clear up as you get older unless you have a servere case of Acne.
My advice babe, would be to not wear any make up because it covers up your spots & they won’t be able to breath.
When I was younger, I had LOADS of spots, and whenever I wore make up I removed it with soap & water.
I then realised the soap was taking away the oil from my skin which was actually making my condition work.
I then used water/vasaline/wipes for oily skin to remove make up, ate LOADS of fruit and water, and now I’m spot free.
I know it’s hard, teenager years have their ups and downs.

for your face recomend that you use counseler on all your blemishes or what you whant to cover up, for foundation i recomend revlon colorstay foundation it has greeeaaatt! coverage after applying your foundation go back with da counseler nd touch up all ur acne stuff, ass fir chest you can do da samee but for your back i think they have some sprayyss idk im nott shure on thatt.
ps: the revlon colorstay foundation is great cuz it also states what type of skin you have either oily or dry ect. soo thatss greatt!

well for now you shouldnt wear anything until the day of your prom go to clinique their makeup is supper good i used to have really bad acne and i started using that make up and my acne cleared up cuz it does clog ur poors like other stuff as for you body just try tanning like at a solon usually that dies up the pimples and they go away and if you dont want to do that i sugg. a spay tan because if you use make up to cover it up its going to get all over ur dress and it looks messy!! hope it works out! have fun!!
