Hey, Sarah Here,
You can check my source. There are like 6 different ways to treat acne naturally.
Do The Following FOUR Things Everyday To Clear Acne Prone Skin QUICKLY!
STEP 1 WASH, TONE, MOISTURIZE FACE TWICE A DAY
Wash face 2 times a day, morning and night (possibly 3rd time, midday, if super oily/sweating). Only use products that are labeled oil-free, won’t clog pores, non-comedogenic, or non-acnegenic!
Try this natural and gentle face routine:
Wash Face with warm water & cleanser – Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar/Wash by Johnson & Johnson.
Tone Face with liquid toner/astringent – Thayers Witch Hazel or Dickinson’s Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel is gentle, non-drying, reduces bacteria/swelling, helps prevent acne, minimizes pore size.
Moisturize Face with an oil-free moisturizer – Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera Gelly, its 99% organic, contains Vitamin A, C, E! Aloe is gentle, helps renew skin cells, heals blemishes/scars. Don’t use other brands of aloe, has very little aloe and to much junk in it which can irritate skin!
STEP 2 KEEP HANDS, HAIR, OTHER STUFF CLEAN
Keep dirt & bacteria at bay to prevent breakouts!
Always wash hands before applying face products!
Don’t rest hands on your face!
Don’t let dirty oily hair touch face!
Change your pillowcase often!
STEP 3 DRINK THREE IMPORTANT LIQUIDS EVERYDAY
WATER
Drinking about 64 oz of pure water everyday improves skin quality, flushes out toxins, delivers nutrients to skin! You can also include 100% Fruit Juice or 100% Vegetable Juice as part of your daily total.
LEMON WATER
Vitamin C improves skin quality, produces collagen (essential skin protein), reduces wrinkles, helps wounds heal. Every morning start your day with one glass of lemon water. Drink lemon water on an empty stomach, one hour before you eat breakfast to make this remedy work effectively. Squeeze one fresh lemon & some of the pulp into a glass of lukewarm water. You can add a little honey to cut down the tartness. Lemon water helps clear acne, cleanses the liver, flushes out toxins. The acid in lemons can damage tooth enamel, so brush your teeth immediately after drinking this!
CARROT JUICE
Vitamin A keeps skin healthy, reduces sebum/oil production, helps skin cells to shed normal, reduces the size of large skin pores. Drink 1 serving (8 oz.) of 100% carrot juice each day. You can buy Bolthouse Farms 100% Carrot Juice at the grocery store. Caution! Overdosing on Vitamin A is toxic & dangerous! Eating to much beta-carotene will turn your skin orange!
STEP 4 ACTIVATE YOUR SKIN
Do at least 1 of these activities EVERYDAY to activate your skin:
Aerobic Exercise increases circulation & delivery of nutrients to skin cells, encourages good blood supply, helps remove toxins, controls acne breakouts! Do 20 to 30 minutes of exercise EVERYDAY or every other day! Drink Water! Immediately take a shower to remove sweat & dirt!
Face Massage improves acne prone skin because it removes toxins away from the face & delivers nutrients to the skin. A lymphatic massage (massaging the lymph nodes on the face) can also improve your skin! You can also buy a book on face massage, such as Ten Minute Facelift by Jennie Harding. Directions: Wash face. Apply toner. WASH HANDS & then use aloe vera as massage gel. Do 10 min massage before going to bed. Don’t wash face again, let aloe dry on face.
Clarisonic Sonic Skin Cleansing System (electronic face brush with sonic power) will keep acne prone skin clear and smooth! Check out the Clarisonic website. Do not use cleanser that comes with this product, buy Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash. If the Clarisonic is to expensive, buy the Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. Don’t use facial brush if you have pustular acne or serious sensitive skin!
yeah eat a low glycemic diet, cut out inflammatory foods like white bread, sugars. Also cutting out milk and wheat can help.
My acne use to be really bad, but then I started eating right and it’s not a problem now.
read this site, it’s really good explanation of the true cause of acne:
http://www.natural-acne-solution.com/what-causes-adult-acne.html
Apply some toothpaste (the white paste – not the gel) on pimples before going to sleep at night and then wash off in the morning. If you feel any kind of tingling or burning sensation however, then remove the toothpaste immediately because you might be slightly allergic.
Egg White is another great way to dry out pimples that already exist (just be sure you do not have an allergy to eggs). Simply separate an egg and apply the clear part of the egg on existing pimples using a clean fingertip or Q-tip. Let dry and then wash off with warm water. You can also apply this before bed and leave overnight as long as there is not allergic reaction.
Finally, and this might sound a little strange, but people swear by using Head and Shoulders shampoo.
Dilute some Head and Shoulders shampoo (the shampoo with Selenium Sulfide, not Zinc) with a little water – mix into a small lather and apply to face (just watch your eyes). This works really well with body acne as well. Simply wash with the shampoo in the shower as you would with regular soap – then rinse.
I drink milk, eat processed food, consume copious amounts of aspartame and use the glycemic index as toilet paper. I don’t have a problem with acne, so there go all of those old wives’ tales.
Perhaps a few months of active Stridex™ pad use would be to your benefit?
Just so you know, there is no cure all method for getting rid of all acne. There are so many causes and conditions which can lead to a pimple problem.
Some occasional pimples are one thing; they might go away with an improvement in basic daily hygiene practices. You can also try the toothpaste thing or the baking soda thing or the lemon juice thing.
It might work.
So too might changing your diet, taking birth control, or using a skin cleanser.
Unfortunately there are people who just drew the “acne card” genetically speaking.
For them, even the daily use of prescription strength skin treatments like Retin-A, or medications like Accutane, won’t really make a difference. Let’s hope you’re not one of them.
I’ve found that the best approach is to hit the acne from all angles: avoid greasy make-up and skin care products, follow a low-carb diet, keep yourself clean but don’t use irritating soaps as they can make it worse, don’t pop or squeeze the heck out of blemishes.
If it keeps getting worse see a dermatologist.
They might have an anti-biotic that will do the trick. It’s sort of natural?
One good treatment for acne is oreganol p73 because of its antimicrobial property. Oreganol is an herbal product and nutritional supplement made from the essential oil of wild oregano. While the exact cause of acne is still disputed, many cases of acne can be due to some kind of microbial overgrowth. This makes oregano oil an ideal treatment. You can add a few drops of the oil to liquid soap and also dab some oil directly onto the skin.
