Tomato mask is said to be good, but I find it too itchy. My estetician recommended me a mask made of oatmeal. Just pour some water on it and mix. Then apply to your face and keep for some minutes (5-10), then wash off with warm water. It is very effective if you have same skin problems on your back. Just lie down and get a friend or sister apply it for you. Then go to shower. What helps me a lot is the mask of green clay. I don’ t know if it can be bought where you live. Maybe go to chemist’ s or the Boots store (if in UK) and ask for it. It comes as powder. So you can dilute it with cold water yourself until it takes the consistence of sour cream. Put it on your face. Keep for some 20-30 minutes. It will feel a bit scratchy, but green clay really does miracles for skin. You can do the same with pink clay, it will make your skin softer and won’ t be that scratchy, but i suppose green is more effective. You can always wipe your face now and then with a peel of cucumber. The valuable vitamins and minerals that vegetables contain usually can be found right under the peel so that’ s what you “offer” your skin when wiping it with what’ s usually to be considered the waste. If somebody drinks coffee at your home, take what’ s left in the filter when coffee is ready. This is also another thing that you usually throw away in WC or dustbin, but can be used as a very good and effective face scrub. Twice a week (or once if feels too harsh) wash your face gently with it. In addition to taking away the dead cells from your skin, it will leave a lovely aroma. To clean your pores you can put a casserole with water on fire and add some fresh parsley and lemon to it. When it’ s boiling, take it off fire, lean over it, cover your face with towel and allow the pores to open up. After this procedure you can allow yourself one a week or once every two weeks the bad habit that acne vic°tims have – sqeeze out some nasty pimples (with clean hands of course and a tissue) because the pores have opened and squeezing won’ t harm the skin that much. As for pimples and blemishes – you can put tea tree essential oil on them and leave overnight. That’ s a very strong antiseptic treatment. Hope this helps :)
