Question: Is there an herbal supplement or vitamans that can help acne, and if so, what? I’ve taken medicine for acne pills but didn’t seem to work as well as I wanted and was such a pain to continue receiving refilled over and over again when it didn’t work so in the first place, so I thought rather of medicinal pills by a physician thought maybe I could try a natural pill that is less expensive, im not asking for a miracle, but it would be cheaper and more convient for Greatest answer:

I had acne problems when I was younger and I tried prescription pills and they didn’t work for me either. I started to taking different natural supplements and it worked nicely. They vitamins and minerals that I recommend are Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Zinc with copper, primrose and oil Oregano.It is important to take copper with zinc because zinc depletes your bodies copper. If you can’t find copper Almonds contains small amounts of copper so that will do in a pinch.
When I first started supplementing with oil of oregano I would put some drops on a small piece of bread and ingest it that way. Another tip that is non vitamin, but related is change your pillow case often because oils can build up.
Make sure to go to a health food store not a pharmacy, the vitamins at a pharmacy are synthetic and far less effective in my opinion. When you are shopping around make sure you talk to an expert as well.
