Every teenager’s nightmare is waking up the day before a huge event with a brand new, giant pimple on their face. With school starting soon all over the US, parents are buying school supplies, children are picking out the perfect outfit days in advance, and teens are stockpiling on acne treatment products.
Whether you are a teen, pre-teen, or adult, acne is not a fun condition. It just so happens to be the number one skin disorder in America, though. This makes the acne treating business an incredibly lucrative one.
However, surface skincare can become a pricey battlefield, considering it is only one element in the equation of having and maintaining clear skin. You could have the most efficient and pricey skincare regimen possible, but if your diet is poor, or you have inherited genetic dispositions, it’s not going to create a miracle.
Luckily, natural treatments for acne do offer more benefits and can actually be cheaper in the long run. Of course, all natural acne treatments still require you to distinguish your skin type and care for it properly. Those with combination skin like myself have to be particularly careful.
Cleanser
Daily skin cleansing is essential. Even if you do not wear make-up, dirt and oils can clog your pores, causing blackheads, pimples and other blemishes. The right cleanser leaves your skin feeling clean but not tight, dry, or raw. For a good natural cleanser that works on all skin types, try mixing plain yogurt and slightly cooked meal together. Use like a normal cleanser and dry. Mixing in a tiny cornmeal adds exfoliation for smooth skin.
Toner
If you use toner for your skin (and you should), heat about a cup of water to a low boil, add a tiny rose water(1/4 a cup if using real rose water, a few drops is using rose oil concentrate), then add a couple of drops mint extract. This is a pleasant smelling natural acne skin care treatment and a tiny goes a long way. When done, store this mixture in the fridge.
Moisturizer
Every skin type needs moisturizing. Don’t think that because your skin is oily it doesn’t need anything. One of the best natural acne treatments I’ve ever used is coconut oil. Use this oil after washing and showering and you’ll not only see your blemishes diminish, but you’ll notice softer, more radiant skin in as tiny as a week.
Overnight Treatment
Finally, my absolute favorite natural treatment for acne that is already present is mix a small pinch of baking soda with tea tree oil into a thin paste. After washing, blot this mixture on to the effected area and leave over night. Wash off in the morning. Depending on the severity of
your breakout, you will see a decrease in size the next day, and it should be absolutely gone within 4 days. I love the smell of tea tree oil, but if it is too strong for you, you might alternative it with STRONG fresh brewed green tea.
Considering the amount of money and time millions of teens and adults are willing to devote to acne treatments, doesn’t it make sense to be using products that not only work, but are actually good for you, too? For less than most currently spend on this ideal, you could be doing it the smart way and using a natural acne treatment!

Hey, Sarah Here,
Wash your face atleast 4-5 times a day as far as possible with cold water, Mix sandalwood and termeric powder and add some rosewater in it and apply it on your face ones or twice a day .
Lemon juice – just use it the same as a toner
Tomato – cut a piece off and rub it on your face
Its the acidity in them that helps, no joke.
Fresh garlic – rub it just on the pimples
If you’re in need of a quick fix, a dab of toothpaste on the affected area right before bed can help soothe irritation and reduce redness. Don’t put toothpaste all over your face as it may dry out your skin.
Also pressing and holding a wet tea bag or a cotton ball with a dab of lemon juice against the blemish for five minutes can also reduce swelling and redness.

the face wash for acne/oily skin really worked for me.
Step one to clearing up acne is by washing your face everyday. This is to cleanse dirt that has accumulated during your daily activities and after oils have accumulated on the skin the night before. To cleanse your face of debris, simply splash some warm water on your face and use a gentle cleanser.
Step two to clearing up acne is by exfoliating. Exfoliating at least once a week helps slough off dead skin cells and encourage healthy skin cell turnover to promote younger-looking skin with a glowing and clearer complexion.
Step three is using a toner or mask. Toners help get rid of any remaining dirt left on the skin and effectively cleanse pores.
Step four is applying medication on areas affected by acne. This can range from Benzoyl Peroxide to Retin-A.
Step five is applying moisturizer. Moisturizer is probably one of the most important steps in your regimen. It helps lock in moisture in the skin to promote elasticity and healthy healing of the skin.
For best results, use all-natural skin care products containing ingredients that work together as a system like the ZENMED Derma Cleanse Gel, which reduces inflammation, redness, and scarring, and the Derma Cleanse Gentle Cleanser, which removes bacteria and excess sebum that have accumulated in the pores
