Tea Tree Oil? Tell me more!?
Question: Tea Tree Oil? Tell me more!?
I recently purchased a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Tea Tree Soap and after I used it, I broke out in an itchy rash! So, I did a tiny research and discovered it was good for acne AND athletes foot, but didn’t really get enough information about doable complications to decide if this is what has caused my rash. I use organic body soap and organic moisturizer. This is a current change. Any herbal specialists out there?
Thanks!

Tea tree oil. It is good for things. Its got a STRONG herbal smell and its expensive. Its just the tea tree that prefabricated you allergic. But I find that tea tree oil is also good on cuts. My mother purchases it sometimes but, its costly for a small bottle. It heals superior but one thing I cant seem to get over is the smell. I guess its just me.

Hey, Sarah Here,
Its a great natural deterrent for head lice.
I use Tea Tree shampoo and it keeps my Psoriasis away. I also use Tea Tree shower wash as I love the feeling of it tingling on my skin and I use Tea Tree Oil in my oil burner as a disinfectant against colds, flu in the home. However, be warned, some tea tree products contain other things and it might be another ingredient that is causing the reaction! I have never gone for Tea Tree Soap, shower gel I use about once a week, use the shampoo every other day, but soap tends to dry the skin out, so I use a water based cream to wash my hands. My Psoriasis Nurse told me I am to stay away from SOAP and use this water based cream instead, as soap dries the skin. Glad to report, the Psoriasis has never been this good, so I am happy.
You might want to consider finding a water based cream to use, because you might have sensitive skin. Best of Luck
PS just went to the web site and it seems you have to dilute the product, did you know that? You do not put it straight onto your hands.
