Question: Okay, so I took this quiz to get a personalized skin care advise and these were my results…?
Your Results
You have combination (normal) skin.
On any given day, your skin can alternate between being dry or oily (depending on everything from the weather to the air in your office). Your T-zone is particularly susceptible to looking and feeling oilier than the rest of your face. Follow these steps to keep your skin balanced:
Step 1. Cleanse
Find a mid-weight, creamy, soothing cleanser prefabricated for finicky skin — nothing too creamy or harsh (skip products that contain salicylic acid).
Step 2. Moisturize
Search for an oil-free moisturizer with SPF during the day, then switch to a non-greasy, nighttime formula without SPF. Also, keep blotting papers on hand for unpredictable oily moments.
Step 3. Pamper your eye area
Think balance. Look for a product that contains phytochemicals, chemical compounds derived from fruits or plants like aloe and soy. They rehabilitate the skin and are natural anti-inflammatory agents that can reduce under-eye puffiness.

Other conditions:
Large pore on my nose and cheeks.
Clogged pores.
A lot of dark spots/acne scars on both of my cheeks
Uneven skin tone.
They state I have combination (normal) skin which is true cause my skin doesn’t always get oily..it is alternating but I do breakout nearly each month or maybe twice a week. They are also telling me to skip products that contain salicylic acid but isn’t that supposed to be good a acne-fighter as I am battling with acne? They even asked whether I am trying to fight acne all over my face and I selected yes of course. Well, I’m confused about this salicylic acid stuff. I’d appreciate any help =]

I have combination skin as well. I use Clinique’s skin care line and have done so since I was in 7th grade (24 years old now). I had some acne and their products are wonderful and make your skin feel great. May seem a tiny high-priced but so worth the money and blows Proactive out of the water in my view
My face got worse at first because the system drew out the stuff under my skin then began clearing up but yeah from your description of your facial skin… sounds very much like mine.
Salicylic acid will dry your skin out really bad from my understanding.
