Natural Skin Care with Wakame and Functional Keratin

A major ingredient in the all natural skin care products on the market is grape seed oil.  It is of value as a moisturizer and a shaving lubricant.  It is nourishing and refreshing when used on the tender skin under the eyes.  It contains antioxidants that can prevent free immoderate damage, one of the primary causes of wrinkles.  But, grape seed oil is not the only natural ingredient that works.

Lots of research has focused on protecting the skin against the causes of an aged appearance.   The reason for the focused research is obvious.   There is a multi-billion dollar market for anti aging products that work.

Antioxidants are quite effective at preventing aging by rendering free radicals inert.   Protein complexes like Functional Keratin and accelerator peptides are also promising.  Extracts from plants like the avocado and certain kinds of seaweed are promising.  Some companies have excelled at refining these ingredients.

All natural skin care products accessible this day contain only one or two ingredients at most.   Distilled or purified water is often the main ingredient.   Water is evidently necessary for blending.  But, if the classify of ingredients includes only water and one other compound, then you aren’t getting much for your money.

In regards to day-to-day cleansers, the gentler the product the better.  But, even if you use the gentlest cleanser, you still need a good moisturizer.  If you are what some people call a “purist”, you might not want anything that science can provide.  There’s nothing improper with that.  The best moisturizer you can use is grape seed or olive oil.

If you are willing to use some scientifically mixed all natural skin care products that contain no man-made chemicals or added fragrances, you can look for a moisturizer containing grape seed oil, functional keratin and a kind of seaweed called wakame kelp.

Blended collectively in lotion-form, those ingredients are soothing and refreshing.  They help protect against sun & free immoderate damage.   They stimulate the body’s own collagen production and reduce wrinkles over time.    They even reverse the depletion of one of the compounds that supports the skin’s smoothness and firmness.   The loss of hyaluronic acid is slowed by wakame kelp.

Many of the all natural skin care products on the market contain hyaluronic acid.  Only a few contain wakame.
