Natural skincare products are everywhere you look today. Full lines of products are based on ingredients that are commonly found in nature. These products clean and replenish the skin without the use of synthetic chemicals or compounds prefabricated in a laboratory. Natural products use no chemicals, detergents, or fillers in their ingredient list.
A majority of acne care treatments use benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. These chemical compounds cure acne but at what cost? A closer look at what these agents do and what they are prefabricated of is important before you but them on your skin. People can have reactions to elements contained in these products that can make the inflammation worse.
Benzoyl peroxide is a bleaching agent. When found in high concentrations, it is extremely flammable and explosive in nature. The normal concentration used in pimple treatments is close to 2.5% but can be close to 10% in certain prescription medications. Normal side effects of benzoyl peroxide include dryness and irritation while certain people can experience more serious issues like burning skin and peeling.
This bleaching agent cleans pores while working to peel away layers of the skin in order to promote skin regeneration. Since it peels away skin, sun exposure can be more harmful so take into account the need for sun endorsement to help guard against sunburn while using this product. When found at 100% concentrations, benzoyl peroxide has been shown to cause cancer in subjects. Normal acne treatment medications use a lower level but it shows the danger involved in using chemical based acne therapies.
Salicylic acid is a chemical compound. It is used for common skin ailments like acne, warts, and psoriasis. It triggers the body to shed skin cells in order to prevent the clogging of pores. Like benzoyl peroxide, it is used as an acne cure in concentrations close to 3%. People often complain of the burning sensation associated with the application of this compound. When found in higher percentages, it can modify DNA and cause long lasting allergic reactions. Treating acne does not need to be so dangerous. These are very serious issues that most people do not think about when they are looking for an acne cure.
A new way of viewing skin care has been evolving in the past few years. Gone are the days when you need chemicals to burn a zit away. Anything that feels it is burning skin should tell you right away it has no place in facial care. If given the chance, acne sufferers would want to cure their skin naturally. Natural skin care is broadly defined as the use of only natural ingredients to help and cure skin ailments. Nothing prefabricated or produced in a laboratory falls under this umbrella. Examples of natural skin care ingredients include beeswax, aloe vera, witch hazel, and jojoba.
Natural acne treatment has had large breakthroughs in the past few years. Natural ingredients have advanced skin care by leaps and bounds. A new, natural biological agent extracted from a land snail has been proven to work effectively as a natural acne treatment. The study is Helix Aspersa Muller Glycoconjugates and it works as a natural enhancer of your own immune system for it triggers the production of more of the natural antimicrobial peptides that your skin normally secretes to keep micro-organisms at bay and contains enzymes that dissolve pore plugs and ruined tissues while triggering the reproduction of new, healthy ones. It rebuilds the skin matrix while repairing, moisturizing, and protecting dermal elements. It is not a compound prefabricated by a man in a laboratory. It is a natural secretion found in apiece day life. It has no side effects like DNA ruin and it does not increase your risks of cancer.
Advancements in medicine and natural acne care wage acne sufferers with more options now than ever. You do not need to bathe your skin in chemical compounds. Nature has provided many elements that help us comprehend apiece day skin afflictions. Through these studies, we have finally been provided a healthier pimple cure. Chemicals are a thing of the past. Natural skin care is the wave of the future for healthier skin.

Question: what is a good natural skin care routine for sensitive skin?
I’ve heard all these things about skin care routines (clean, tone, moisturize) but I’m not sure what I should use. I have very sensitive skin and very natural products work best. My skin does not get very oily or have a lot of acne, so I don’t need anything extreme. Ideas? Thanks!

I sometimes have sensitive skin as well! i advocate using a cream cleanser. it’s by Aveeno in a light tan-ish bottle and it states Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser. It makes my skin smooth and soft after using it and is gentle on the face for sure. Plus, it has natural ingredients in it and that’s always great! i hope this works for u!

Hey, Sarah Here,
The 1st step of your sensitive skin care routine is to remove eye make-up. Choose an eye make-up remover that is meant for sensitive skin.
* Pour some eye make-up remover on a cotton wool pad.
* Apply gently to remove all eye make-up.
* Dip a cotton bud in eye make-up remove and remove all last traces of stubborn eye make-up.
The 2nd step in your sensitive skin care routine is facial cleansing. Avoid soaps and facial washes. These will remove oil and moisture from the skin and increase your skin’s sensitivity.
Choose a hypoallergenic, light cleansing lotion instead.
Choose appropriate skin care products designed for your skin type. Eg Neutrogena And Clean And Clear Which I Use < Reeally Good Plus They Do Ones For Diffrent Skin Types OiIly Senitive Etc .
The 3rd step in your sensitive skin care routine is facial toning.
Avoid commercial facial toners totally. Even the mildest toner can cause the skin’s natural protection to breakdown.
Use the following steps to freshen up your face.
* Splash warm water on your face. This will help to remove all traces of facial cleanser and residual eye make-up remover from your skin.
* Use a soft towel to lightly pat your face dry. Do not rub the skin as this could irritate it.
The 4th step in your sensitive skin care routine is moisturizing.
It is essential to keep your skin well moisturized. This will strengthen it. The moisturizer will form a protective barrier against irritants.
Choose appropriate skin care products designed for your skin type. Check out this article on moisturizers.
ALSO TRY A GOOD TOP TIP IS TO STEAM YOUR FACE BY GETTING A POT FILLIT UP WITH HOT WATER PUT YOUR FACE IN BUT NOT TOUCHING IT THEN PUT A TOWEL OVER YOUR HEAD SO YOUR IN COMPLETE DARKNESS LEAVE FOR 10 MINS YOU WILL SEE IMIDIATE RESULTS !
I would suggest products from the mark. line. It is sold through Avon and these products are made with super fruits and super foods so they are very rich in vitamins and antioxidants and are more natural than many lines. They are non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, oil-free and allergy tested.
I would recommend the “Calming Effect” cleanser because it is soap free, so it won’t dry you out which can be very irritating on sensitive skin. It uses banana and oak milk protein.
Sometimes exfoliating can be irritating on sensitive skin but our skin needs this in order to keep up with the natural skin shedding process. We have to remove the dead skin cells to aid in the production of new skin cells and unclogging pores, aging, etc. You should try the “Go With The Grain” exfoliating beads and mix a small amount of that with the “Calming Effect” cleanser for a mild yet useful exfoliation.
For your freshener you should use “Mist Opportunity” it works by refreshing your skin, minimizing pores and works to set your makeup in place after you apply it. (just spritz it throughout the day if you need a little freshening). It contains NO alcohol but has cleansing nutrients and antioxidants to help protect the skin.
For your moisturizer you should use “Calm & Composed” which reduces skin redness and provides calming and soothing relief. It is quick absorbing and oil free. It has avocado, shea butter, oat, and algae extract so it’s definitely good for sensitive skin.
You should also use a mask 1-2x a week as needed. I would recommend “Calm Yourself” which contains green tea, cucumber, lemon and orange. It will improve skin clarity, tone and your skin will look and feel fresher.
I am a licensed Esthetican so skin care is my passion. I am also a Avon Representative and if you order $16 from the Mark line by July 12 you get a free full size mask. You can get the “Calm Yourself” mask for free. Visit my online store if you would like to purchase at http://www.youravon.com/sshoberg and also you can check out my website for more information http://www.morethanjustface.com
If you every have any questions at all please feel free to email or call me.
Taking Vitamin C daily (boosts immune system and is an antioxidant – I take half a teaspoon daily of the crystals with lots of water and a straw to keep it from getting on my teeth) and Odorless Garlic Capsules (anti-bacterial) have helped get rid of my acne. Also, stay away from all junk foods and sugars (refined sugars, additives and preservatives are likely to make you break out). Your best bet is to have a very healthy diet: lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, and fish is the best meat for you. Limit your intake of starchy foods like breads and potatoes. What you put in your body is more important that what you put on your skin.
I like to use extra virgin cold pressed olive oil each day under my makeup and before bed. I have also heard that Vitamin E cream is good for the skin.
Doing facial exercises can increase blood flow to the face and improve your complexion. I like using the following program: http://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/the-benefits-of-facial-exercises
Also, use an exfoliant with soybean oil in it with exfoliating gloves once a day. I prefer to use Dove Gentle Exfoliating Beauty Body Wash or Neutrogena Visibly Even foaming cleanser. This will make your skin feel very smooth over time.
Hope this helps!
