Question: Methods for fading/removing scars from body acne on the body?
I’ve had body acne (back, chest, and shoulders – the whole 9 yards) for about 4 years – and throughout all of them, I prefabricated the awful mistake of picking at nearly each blemish I got. Unfortunately, African-American skin scars very easily from such damage. Just as unfortunately, I haven’t really decided to do anything about it until about 3 months ago (March). I’ve been using Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Cream just about each day since then. Some of the more current scars have faded, but the ones that have been there for the whole 4 years are still going strong. Anyway, I would really appreciate any recommendations on what to do about this – products, herbs, anything! I’ve also been given the option to visit a spa in the near future, and any advice on what sort of treatment would help reduce scars would also be great.
