Herbs for Acne

Question: Is there a natural/herbal treatment for female hormonal acne that clears up on birth control?
I have adult acne that clears up beautifully on birth Control pills, but I hate the other side effects of the pills. NOTHING else has helped my skin.

Try taking sassafras root, and get in to a three step facial routine.
Also vitamins a e and c help too. Small doses of the sun (vitamin d).
