if I’m on birth control is that you can take Chinese herbal medicines?

Question: If I’m on birth control is that you can take Chinese herbal medicines? I wonder if taking the Chinese medicine herbal (for my acne) interfere with my birth control. Because I know that the herb of the reports, does st.johns im wondering if any herbal medicines do? that I am taking is called Fu Fang Zhen Zhu An Chuang Pian (lol) and I just started this day Greatest answer: Answer

    It should be okay, however, speak with the acupuncturist, or herbalist, who knows what B.C. you are on and recommended that formula to make sure.

    I wouldn’t. Herbal medications are not studied or researched. There is no data to even say they are safe to use. They do not have to be approved by the FDA before they are released to the shelf. So who really knows if there will be an interaction and who really know what you are taking.
