I Need Herbs For Acne- The Acne Natural Remedies to Get Rid of My Zits Fast!

If you are suffering from acne then herbs for acne or acne natural remedies is what many people are using to get rid of acne nowadays. From ancient times to the present, people have treated various diseases with the awesome medicinal properties of plants and herbs; acne has not been the exception.

I must state that they do have a long tradition of use, and are absolutely worth trying as acne natural remedies. Herbs for acne work on the internal condition of the body, they are not going to replace any of the topical, over the counter acne treatments. But they might wage benefit in an indirect way that these acne products don’t.

Substitute herbs tend to be quite gentle in their effect, so they are best used as a long term treatments for acne.  You won’t see any overnight result with homemade acne treatment, but they will improve the general health of the body. Herbs for acne tend to be given for chronic inflammatory problems, especially relating to the skin, such as acne.

Herbs for acne include poke root, blue flag, burdock, cleavers, red clover, figwort and Echinacea.  Blue flag, yellow dock, Echinacea and burdock are good mixture of herbs for acne. You can mix them together and infused with hot water to make a tea then use it as acne natural remedies. Take one cup of the mixture 3 times daily. And to make it taste good, you can add a tiny honey to it. These are another acne natural remedies.

One more doable combination is dandelion, burdock, and sarsaparilla (not the cola!). Combine them together when they are dry herbs, and make a tea in the same way. You can use it separately as well.

There are lots of options for topical acne natural remedies. You can apply tea tree oil directly to breakouts, but for those whom their skin is sensitive; you have to dilute the tea tree oil. Fresh cabbage juice can as well be applied directly to acne blemishes, and this might be a superior option of healing acne for those with sensitive skin.

An anti inflammatory skin wash can be prefabricated from calendula and chamomile. Make a tea as above, then let it cool and keep it in the fridge. Spray or blot this onto the affected areas regularly.

Another combination for acne natural remedies is lavender, elder flowers and yarrow.

Furthermore, colloidal minerals for instance potassium phosphate and metal phosphate can help support the skin. Zinc works great to help prevent scarring, as well as fortifying the immune system and help supports the normal functioning of hormones.

One more outstanding cure for acne is vitamin C. It is encourages the healing of acne lesions, and provides antioxidant support to the immune system.

Herbal Acne Home Cures can be an effective adjunct to whatever other treatments are being used. It is very important to comprehend that they are not hard and fast cures for acne, but will instead support the body’s capacity to metabolize fats and carbohydrates, and encourage elimination through the lymphatic system.

In addition to supplementing with fish oil, vitamins can improve your acne. While Vitamin E has long been associated with healthy skin, research has shown that low levels of vitamin A are associated with acne. www.acnefreeatlast.com

Question: I need to lessen/reduce my acne…i’m desperate?
I’ve had acne for the past 2 or 3 years now. During the summer, it wasn’t too bad. Then, it got a bit worse throughout the fall, but still not what u can call mild. A few here and there. So, there was this tutorial i found on the web, which dealt with dieting. So, i started it in early december. Over two weeks, my acne significantly improved. I was intake healthy (before it used to be a box of cookies each 2 days). I didn’t break out at all. Then, the bad stuff came. I broke out, and ever since those two weeks, my acnes gotten significantly worse, possibly worse than it was before i started my diet. I’m currently doing acupuncture to help it, and still doing some of the diet, and also taking some supplements (like herbs, as well as vitamins A & E). But, no change. I’m really desperate, this acne is severly limiting my social life, and i’m finding myself depressed all the time. Does anyone have anything to help? I would like all natural treatments, but anything will do.
Thnx.
P.S – I’m 17 years old tomorrow, and a guy.

first, happy Birthday,

my son had a problem from 16-19.
We tried “proactiv” {?sp}, it did help some. In the end we ended up at a dermatologist. The combination of proactiv and antibiotics helped a lot. it did not absolutely cure the acne but kept it bearable.

The only thing I can tell ya is to eat healthy.
Try to not eat fried or fast food.
Red meat is also quite bad for you, but I am not sure if it affects acne.

Drink a lot of water, and if you can, only eat organic fruit and try not to eat as much processed/boxed food.

Also, wash your face with a cleanser every day.
    Good luck. (:

Well, its good that you are taking action, & trying to help this situation. Try going to a local dermitologist. They will find your skin type, & perscribe a product that can help your face. Sometimes, they say to buy ___ brand for your skin. Its a 90% chance that they are right. I hope you can reduce this skin problem..

  4. Sean says:

gotta disagree with you hotaru, red meat is extremely good for you, it’s almost essential to a healthy diet, too much is bad for you tho

And to answer your question, instead of trying diets and acupuncture and all that crap, get some medicine, the clearpores line of acne treatment is good, so is clearasil

Try acnezine, it’s a pill, use it in combination with clear pores medication on the affected area, should clear you up.

I’ll get back to you, i’ve got a dermatology appointment tommorow, so i’ll tell you if it works.

i am younger than you and i had horrible acne at one piont on my back and face it was really gross. i went to the dermitologist and they perscribed this stuff called ziana [for black heads] and prascion [which is a facial cleansing clothe used for zits] the worked really well i’ve been using them 4 the past 2 years and i am pimple free! either that or proactive (i havent really tried it but my friends have and it semmed to work really well for them)

    Good Luck!

PS: food and chocolate has nothing to do with acne unless your rubbing you face with chocolate lol
