I have moderate acne, but sensitive skin also?
Question: I have moderate acne, but sensitive skin also?
I have used just about everything o-t-c for acne. It either dries my skin out, or just does not work. The main things I have tried are: Proactiv, Clean and Clear Advantage kit, Neutrogena Acne Therapy System.
Neutrogena Acne Therapy system worked for a while, but then i started breaking out again and my face was like a friggin desert. I do not know what to do but my huge birthday celebration [ i am having this year since i missed out on a sweet sixteen] is the first week of october and i am desperate to have clear skin…I was looking at Skin id, it looks cool because they had me answer questions about my skin, and Zyporex because its all-natural…….Any help?

Hey, Sarah Here,
I’m looking at skin iD too, because it seems more custom. you can try going to your dermatologist/facilist/esthetician and see what they recommend. Sorry I can’t help more! Let me know how skin iD works out if you go that route!
Have you tried going to a dermatologist? Sometimes they can prescribe a pill to clear up your skin.
you have to go with a docta, if your already went with the docta i’m sorry.
i’ve been using neutrogena oil-free acne stress control scrub and power foam. they both work great, although i love the scrub! i hope this helps
my skin still has pimples here and there but it’s getting a lot clearer!
i’ve used pro-activ and a lot of other things as well but i think this one works the best
Honestly, I think all of those products work fine. I’ve heard different results from different people. For me, the Proactiv renewing cleanser always worked wonders, or, of course, all of the proactiv steps. However…
The key is to take a look at what you eat. There are many foods that stimulate acne. Greasy food, chocolate, lots of milk. Eat healthier…that’s the key, I promise you.
Hi darlin!
Yes, I have also struggled with acne since I was 15! I have tried all of those products too and nothing made a huge difference, except a Clean and Clear product. I am not sure which one you tried but the antibacterial orange face wash really works. It does not contain all of those Benzo acids that dry out your face and make a whirlwhin of repetitive breakouts. The orange face wash is an antibacterial that just kills the bacteria that creates acne. Also, for a fast soothing acne calmer, try a green mask. You can purchase these at walgreens or walmart for like $5. I think it is a Sally product. Either way put the green mask on before you get ready. It really helps shrink current acne spots. Oh yeah, if you drink 3-4 nalgen water bottles a day, your face will clear within 3 weeks, I promise! Hope that helps! Good luck!
