Last year I had terrible acne and lots of scars, after a few months of prescription medicines not being effective my dermatologist recommended I go ahead and use Accutane. It is the drastic measure for acne but is extremely effective. After 5-6 months of use you have 80+% chance of not having any acne again ever.

Hey, Sarah Here,
Sounds like you may want to a route that is organic and natural since you have allergies and your skin is sensitive. I wanted to go natural as well and found one thing that worked absolute wonders. If you try it, I recommend you do it daily for a couple of weeks to see how it really works and how you feel.
OCM – Oil Cleansing Method. This is where you use oil to wash and moisturize your face. If you think about it, you can’t really effectively wash away oil with water since they don’t mix and oil is the culprit when it comes to face problems. I have used a mixture of Organic Cold-Pressed Olive Oil and regular Castor oil (more castor if you are oily; more Olive if you are dry). I bought a cheap little travel size bottle from my grocery store, something you would use to take your shampoo with you on a trip. I mixed the two together and it lasted for a good long while. Wash your face once a day with this mixture. Basically, you shake it up (to mix) and then rub it into your face. Take the time to work it in and give yourself a nice facial massage. Then take a wash cloth with the hotest water you can stand and drape the cloth over your face until it goes cold. Wipe some of your face off. Rinse the cloth and start again. This opens your pores and helps to get the dirt out of the pores. Once you have wiped your face clean, if you have dry skin, you can put a tiny amount of olive oil into your palms, rub them together and pat your face lightly. From there you can splash cold water on your face to close the pores back up. I have had great results using this method. Some people can’t wrap their minds around it though.
Google “oil cleansing method” rather than “OCM”.
Other people have had great results using various other oils so this is something you could fine tune for yourself. The best part about it is that you know exactly what is going into it and ultimately, your skin.
Water is natures secret for dewy-fresh skin!
I know it is hard to do but try to drink at least 6 glasses of water a day and eat fluid rich fruits and vegetables. Water will flush any impurities from your body.
Don’t smoke or drink alcohol this will make things worse.
Eggs. Smooth on a film of vitamin E (from a pierced capsule), wait 30 minutes, then apply a coating of whisked egg white.
Pears have a disinfectant, drawing action when peeled, cored, mashed, and used as a 10 minute facial pack.
Black heads:- EPSOM SALT AND IODINE: Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil, stir in 1 teaspoon of epsom salt and 3 drops of iodine. Dip strips of absrobant cotton in the slightly cooled solution, place them over infested areas and cover with a dry washcloth to retain the heat. Repeat two or three times, reheating the liquid if necessary. After popping out the blackheads go over your face with clean face cloth.
Good luck
i have SUPER sensitive skin too!!! and i am currently having an allergy. =(
i have tons of acne scars on my t-zone which has been there for almost a year, i guess.
i’ve tried some home made recipes in the past few weeks. here are some i’ve got to share… (=
1) HONEY
simply smear pure honey onto your face. since you have oily face, like me, don’t smear too much because honey moisturizes. anyway, honey really helped me reduce the redness of my acne scars and makes my skin softer! just leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. then wash off with cold water and pat dry.
2) OATMEAL
oatmeal does wonders!!! simply prepare natural oatmeal in the edible form. and apply it over your whole face. this greatly exfoliates your skin and leaves it soft and less oily. leave it on to dry for 15 to 20 minutes then gently rub it off and then rinse with water. when your skin feels irritated by the oatmeal when it’s on your face, then it’s time to clean it off. be careful not to rub too hard cause oatmeal may cause irritation to some, which did in my first attempt.
3) EGG WHITE
crack an egg, separate the yolk from the white and only use the white. do not whisk it. before you start, tear a piece of 2-ply tissue into smaller pieces to be put on your face later. to start, apply the egg white onto your whole face. then, quickly stick the pieces of tissue over your face, ensure that you cover up all those blackheads. then, apply another layer of egg white over the tissues. after that, leave it to dry for about 15 minutes. your skin will feel instantly tighter once the mask is on because it tightens pores. once dry, slowly and gently peel of the tissues starting from your chin, in an upwards motion. woots! the blackheads are stuck on the tissue!!! amazing!!! if your blackheads are big and have been there for long, you might need to do this a few times before getting rid of them.
note that the above are all masks. so you shouldn’t do it too often otherwise it will lose its effectiveness. once or twice a week is enough. all the best to you!!!
