How to Clear Acne – 3 Clever Home Acne Removers

Over 90% of people experience acne at one point or another during their life. For most, it occurs during their teenage years when their body produces too much male hormone (testosterone). That’s right, girls too. Most acne during puberty is caused by an over-release of this hormone, which is difficult (and not always the best idea) to correct during that time. So instead, we have to figure out how to clear acne properly and how to get rid of acne fast. Luckily, there are dozens of simple ways to do this. Here are the top 3 ways to do it at home:

How to Clear Acne at Home…

1. Tomatoes: These are great for helping with acne for a variety of reasons. While it is true that intake them more often will help your acne, it can take a few weeks for this diet change to begin to have an effect. Obviously, we’re looking for faster results. So, slice a fresh tomato and rub the cut side onto the acne spots, and then let the juice dry. Wait as long as you can (up to an hour) and then rinse off. The vitamin A from the tomato will keep your skin elastic, allowing whatever is clogging your pore to be removed easily and preventing it from clogging again.

2. Honey: This is a great method if you’re wondering how to clear acne. Like tomatoes, it’s all natural, practically free (yes you have to purchase honey, but most people have it at home anyway), and can be easily and swiftly applied. Greatest of all, since there is nothing harsh in it (such as acids or sulphur) you can leave it on as long as you’d like. Some people just place it on in the morning and wash it off at night! The same as with the tomatoes, simply place a very small amount of honey onto problem areas and let dry, then rinse off a bit later.

3. Garlic: One of the fastest proven methods for getting rid of acne. However, you must be extremely careful with this acne removal remedy. The sulphur in garlic helps breaks up the clog and clear the pore, but because sulphur is so caustic it can also burn your skin if left on for too long. So, try this on your shoulder first, so that if it does cause a reaction it is simple to hide. Just cut a clove of garlic in half, and hold on the acne spot for 3-5 minutes, but no longer then 5 minutes! After you’ve done this, immediately rinse the area with warm water and pat dry with a towel.

Now that you know how to clear acne easily, you just have to decide which method to try first. Personally, I’d save garlic as kind of a last resort. Honey has the least chance of irritating the skin, so if you have dry or sensitive skin, try honey first. Also, you can puree fresh tomatoes with a tiny honey into a paste and make a face mask out of it. This is a great “spa-like” treatment that will clear your acne fast and efficiently. Seriously, give these methods a try and watch as your skin becomes as smooth and as clear as you’ve always wanted it to be!

Take toothpaste, and at night, apply it to your acne. In the morning, wash it off. But make sure its paste toothpaste! Not gel or anything!

ive had serious problems with acne but ive managed to clear my skin up, ill share my secrets with you which will help but i dunno how possible it is to get rid of it in a month. whatever you do dont use anything too strong or wash your face too much, it will only make it worse!
    - dont wear make up for a lil while
    - wash your face twice a day using rose water (or something else very soft like this – rose water is known for having good effects on acne)
    - use a cream with benzoyl peroxide in it (this is the most effective cream you can get without perscription, but dont use too much!)
    - take zinc supplements, taking as much vitamin A as possible ( people with bad acne are given vitamin A supplements but need to be on prescription and have regular blood tests to check everything is ok but take what you can) and vitamin B complex. If you’re only going to use one, use zinc! very effective!

you ask for things people have at home but i dont know what to tell you on that front as getting rid of acne is no easy job! you can use toothpaste if you like but it only works for indivisual spots, if you put it all over your acne it will sting and make your face go red..
another thing thats very good for acne is to put boiling water in a bowl and put your face over it and a towel over the back of your head. this will make you sweat and bring all the dirt to the top of your skin so the first few times you may see new pimples but then you will see big improvements. dont do it the day before you need clear skin tho

Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes, then wash.
Wash face with avocado paste mixed with water
Boil water in a pan, add some apple cider vinegar. Cool, put a towel on your head and bend over the pan.
Apply some toothpaste on the acne. Do NOT apply on skin because it will make it dry, only on the acne spots.

Try washing your face by wetting it with water then scrubbing it lightly with baking soda and rinse well. Follow by applying vinegar to the face with a cotton ball. Do this before you go to bed and then just wash your face normally in the morning(you don’t want to go around smelling like vinegar.) I used to use this when I was a teen and it worked pretty well.

try going to the dermatologist i tried many thing s but they don’t work. if your insurance covers Accutane you can go on that but you really have to make sure you don’t get pregnant or anything. If your insurance covers it then your only pay like ten dollars or so every month for the prescription and your on it for like 5 months and it clears your face up realllyy gooodd!!

if you are using acne face wash or acne treatment pads and they still are not working…than your skin type is not made for that type of treatment. try this option for a week and you should see results. continue if you see results
buy regular bar soap but for sensitive skin. i used dove sensitive skin soap. when you wash your face, don’t use a wash rag, just your hands. lather your hands up with soap and wash your face and rinse. after you get out of the shower, dab a towel on your face to dry it. this should allow for your skin to be less greasy. after a couple days you should see a difference but you might start having some dry skin on your face from the bar soap. get a sensitive skin lotion and just put a very little but in your fingers, rub it in your fingers and apply it gently and sparingly to the dry areas only, too much will put you right back where you started. let me know if this works…good luck

Drinking barley water every day helps clear out the toxins in your body. Also, taking lemon and applying the juice to spots helps them to dry out. Don’t put it elsewhere on your face though.
