Homemade Moisturizing Cream For Face
The cold, dry left the New England winter my skin dry, flakey and sore, especially on my face. I have tried many face creams and none of them seem to be as good as I like. I hate not ready to try it before I go home because if they do not make any great improvement in my skin I still have the bottle to use. My friend has this recipe for a do-it-yourself homemade face cream that works wonders. I will never go back to the store purchased face cream again. Moisturizing Face.
To make this homemade face cream you need: 25 ml apricot kernel oil, 25 ml jojoba oil, beeswax 15 g, 70 ml bottle of water, 2 tablespoons rose water, lemon juice and 1 tsp.
The manufacturing process of the face cream starts with the use of a double boiler with two cups of warm water in the background. Now add the jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil and beeswax and heat all three ingredients until the wax is absolutely melted.
Pour the hot liquid into a bowl and leave it as it cools.
Now, back to the bath. Add bottled water, rosewater and lemon juice to start. Heat these ingredients until they are hot. Now, turn off the heat and leave the double boiler on the burner so as not to cool too quickly.
The cooled mixture of jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil and beeswax, water and lemon juice mixture.
Stir the mixture constantly until the ingredients are thinking and opaque. When they begin, end a tiny heat can help warm up everything and to add the combine.
Once the mixture has thickened it is ready to be used as a facial cream. You can store the cream in an airtight container, but it only lasts about six weeks, so remember to mark the container in which it was the first time. Moisturizing Face.
Not only is the recipe for homemade facial cream on her own amazing, but you can add other ingredients to make it work superior for your skin type. If you break out, add 1 teaspoon of apple vinegar to the face cream. Dry skin will benefit from the addition of 2 teaspoons of evening primrose oil. The face cream works best for combination skin, if you two drops of tea tree oil benefits and oily skin, add a teaspoon of witch hazel water.
