Question: Home Remedies for skin?
ok, so i hate spending money if i can do it the natural way. its cheaper and usually superior for your skin anyways… but i need some home remedies for an acne scar remover, moisturizer, toner, mask, exfoliator… basically anything for your face. i have nearly each spice, herb, or ingredient i can think of. please and thank you

For exfoliating I would advocate using yogurt and sugar, or milk and sugar. If exfoliates gently but doesn’t dry skin out.

A good thing for clearing out pores is to boil water and place it in a bucket. Then with a towel over your head place your face over the warm water but about 10cm away not too close. This way of steam cleaning really clears the pores and leaves your face with radiance. You can follow this up with the exfoliating.

For naturaling glowing skin get lots of sleep, drink atleast 2 letres of water a day, exercise at least 30 five times a week and consume healthy food.

As far as moisturisers and cleansers I would advocate using one from the chemist not a home ingredient. You can get really gentle ones like Cetaphil which have no harming effects on the skin. www.cetaphil.com.au/

Be careful with home ingredients because “natural” is not always better. Not to state there are many natural ingredients that are good for the skin too. Some natural ingredients are very irritating for the skin like lemon, lavendar and Cinnamon.
“Just because an ingredient grows out of the ground or is found in nature doesn’t make it automatically good for skin, and the reverse is also true, just because it is synthetic doesn’t make it bad.”
