Question: Help with treatment for acne?
Hi there,
I have had moderate acne for about the last 10 years of my life and I feel as though I have tried just about everything to treat it without any luck. I’ve tried each face wash from Clearasil to Proactive, I’ve tried over the counter creams, prescription creams, prescribed antibiotics, the pill, witch hazel and Chinese herbal remedies and none of this has had much success. I’m now 21 and don’t want the skin of a 15 year old kid anymore!
I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what more I can try? I’ve heard laser treatments mentioned but I really don’t have the money at the moment for any costly therapies.

Acne could be caused by hormones, diet, stress, and more.

It will take some time to go away but my best advice is to prevent your face from being oily. Personally, I wash mine twice a day. I used Clean & Clear Morning Burst when I wake up and at night when showering, I just wash my face with a bar soap. I also use Clean & Clear Oil Absorbent Sheets to remove the oil from my face. Though I don’t have acne as much.

For my brother who is a 16-years old athlete and have spots all over his body, the best product he used is called, “Clean & Clear Advantage 2-in-1 Acne & Mark Eraser Kit,” which is like at Target. It helped him a lot along with scrubbing his body very well with a bath brush. (We tried each product to help him like Clearasil and any products that my 15-years old sister and I can find didn’t work until the kit). Also… when you don’t shower after you sweat, it could clog the pores on your skin and causes inflammation, which is acne.
