Help, I Need Treatment For Cystic Acne!
Over 40 million people living in USA are endured with this acne. This can cause self-esteem problems in some people, because of the way it can wreak havoc on our complexion. Acne can come in different forms and can target anybody but let’s look now at how one can get treatment for cystic acne.
Acne is a condition of the skin. It can be in the form of pimples, whiteheads or blackheads. Add cystic to acne and you have a very painful problem. Cystic acne affects the tissue of the skin to a much deeper degree.
Cystic acne can be a problem for more than just the face. Anytime an oil duct becomes infected, this is an open invitation to this intrusive blemish. Cystic acne can be experienced on the back, on the buttocks and just about anywhere a hair follicle gets clogged up. We have all heard the saying, things might get worse before they get better, well this is true for treating acne. Don’t anticipate to see instant results because it could take a month or two for things to clear up. Over the counter drugs can be used in the beginning that can be applied directly to the problem area. If this does not help a doctor or dermatologist will probably prescribe an oral medication. In severe cases or if it seems necessary an antibiotic might be prescribed to fight swelling and infectious bacteria.
Acne medications help by creating new cells and stopping the hair follicles from being clogged up. They will help control the oil and bacteria. If there is a concern, by all means do not hesitate seeing a physician.
There are things you can do to help prevent new acne from forming. Keep your hands off your face. If your hands have bacteria on them this could infect your face. You might try wearing looser clothing as well to give bacteria less of a chance to form. There are ongoing studies that recommend what we consume might also have a link to our complexion. Maybe in the near future we will have more knowledge of the outcome of these studies.
Try to remember if acne wants to be a part of your life, you can face it. Stand up and fight back. With cleanliness, proper medication and the help of a doctor or dermatologist, before too long blemished faces are gonna begin to clear up.
