Question: Has NAC 600 (N-Acetyl-L- cysteine) cleared anybody’s acne?
i here claims of this in one of my other questions but i cant really find to much information other than it cleanses the liver and lymph glands
has anybody tried this? do you need to cycle it like u would herbs?

I haven’t heard of it working specifically for acne, but I suppose it could. NAC is a very good antioxidant and it helps for liver health, you’ve got that exactly right. Now, theoretically, when the liver is healthier, it can filter out toxins more efficiently, so that could help fight against toxins that affect acne. Antioxidants help to defend cells from ruin from free radicals, so that can help defend the skin in general. Also, there is a form of Cysteine in NAC and Cysteine helps with skin health overall… when the skin is healthier, you’ll be less apt to get acne.
All that being said, I suppose it might help with acne… it makes sense that it could. I’d state give it a shot… worse case scenario is that your liver and skin get healthier. LOL! Good luck!
