Hey, Sarah Here,
Wintergreen 70% Isophroyl Rubbing Alcohol
Toothpaste.
put a hot rag on his face to open his pores then use noxzema do this in the morning and evening
actual acne or talking individual pimples? I used to use milk of magnesia on pimples…rubbing alcohol is good for drying them out but it dries out your skin.
Guess if he doesn’t do so already he should try to drink lots of water and be careful about resting his face in his hands.
i use straight rubbing alcohol for my pimples, always have since my step-dad told me he did it to control his pimples, i have been using it since the seventies. i also had my kids use it
hope it helps
Honestly, alcohol works!!!
I’m sure the drug/ cosmetic/money -making companies would love to delete you question!!
Milk of Magnesia shrinks them up if applied overnight. Stress and not enough sleep is often the culprit. Don’t over scrub sensitive skin. If open sores, use peroxide to clean very gently..
visine. yes the eye drops. it helps dry them out.
Acne, eruptive skin disease. It is primarily a disorder of the sebaceous follicles of the skin and appears most often on the face, neck, and back. The natural secretion, or sebum, of the follicles accumulates and mixes with dust and dirt. The follicles and surrounding tissue become inflamed and blackheads appear. If the follicle opening completely closes, the accumulated sebum is degraded by bacteria and forms a cyst.
Acne vulgaris, the most common form, is usually associated with adolescence but may also occur in adults. A severe form of the disorder is known as acne conglobata. Other forms of acne are also observed, such as the chloracne caused by chlorinated compounds. In acne rosacea, the capillaries in the cheeks, forehead, and nose are swollen with blood and the oil glands in the skin become infected.
Acne in adolescence results primarily from hormonal changes taking place in the body; the hormones stimulate sebum production. Outbreaks cannot be prevented by a controlled diet and are not a sign of uncleanliness. Good hygiene should be observed, however, to prevent more serious infections. Severe acne may be treated by antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, or vitamin A derivatives. Severe acne in adults may be a sign of an underlying endocrine disorder.
Washing his face in the morning and at night with a mild soap and try using a UV blocking moisturizer made for the face. My dermatologist had me us Purpose brand. Keep his fingernails and hands clean, guy have problems with that, then they touch their face, pick at their zits…makes the problem much worse.
It may just be something he has to grow out of or see a dermatologist about.
Alcohol made mine worse. What helped mine was to dab witch hazel or hydrogen peroxide on the irritated sore, let it soak for a few seconds and the wash off with water.
put toothpaste on the places where acne is and wash it off the next day or put aloe over his entire face and wash it off the next day. i recommend doing the aloe more instead of the toothpaste. i should know since im also suffering from acne but not as much since my face got better using the aloe and proctive and the other things didnt help me either. also, it doesnt matter if he eats fried foods or drinks soda if he uses the aloe. email me if you want to know how to use the toothpaste or aloe.
If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:
