Does drinking tea cause you to break out with acne?
Question: Does drinking tea cause you to break out with acne?
I heard that drinking coffee can make your skin have more acne and more oily.
(and from my own experience I know that’s true)
So, I was wondering if the same thing can happen if you drink green tea or herbal tea everyday?

I guess it kind of dependents on what in the tea you are drink. I like to drink the black tea and it doesn’t affect my skin. I drink coffee everday to it doesn’t break me out either. There probaly some that you are allergic to that causing you to breakout. I hope this helps

Acne begins with excessive oil production. your body typically produces the oil to lubricate a hair
follicle. In pre-adults, excess hormone production can lead to this problem. Dead skin cells
then are added to the sticky oil solution to further clog the follicle. This is believed
to be the cause of white heads, and black heads. While surface treatment may be helpful
in providing relief, I believe to treat the condition itself, we need to take a look at the
underlying cause. Namely diet, and hydration.
