Herbs for Acne

Question: do biotin vitamins really help skin with acne?
i have just started to take the all natural vitamin by nature valley called the hair skin and nails vitamin it has only a couple other ingredients but biotin is the main huge ingredient, i was just wondering if it would help clear up my skin?
