Organic is generally applied in terms of plants and how they are grown. So you're looking for plant based makeup? Ok..so you find some made from corn starch or hemp or whatever...what's it colored with???Cosmetic ingredients are highly regulated and most colorants are lab created in order to not contain contaminants and be safe for you. Also...if it's plant based, now it can grow bacteria (plants are food for bacteria) so now it needs a preservative (which isn't organic at all). So you're defeating your purpose! I'd recommend mineral makeup. Minerals are inert ingredients that cannot sustain bacterial growth. Study the ingredients. Google them. Then pick what you think is best or most natural. I use LA Minerals.....good ingredients, no bismuth, no talc, good prices too. http://www.laminerals.com Their Hollywood and NoHoGlo foundations aren't cakey at all. Look really natural.
