Herbs for Acne

Question: any recommendations how i can treat my acne scars and blemishes? any OTC ointments or products i can use at home?
i have to wear make up apiece day to cover it up and it lessens my self esteem…i tried bleaching creams to lighten the spots,but the peeling off doesn’t look good either…
