Am I approaching balancing my hormones in the right way?

Question: Am I approaching balancing my hormones in the right way?
Okay so back in October I stressed my body out really bad working out and my period stopped coming. Along with my period stop- came acne. SEVERE.

I stopped going to the gym for a week back in April and started drinking herbal tea (raspberry leaves with two other herbs) and my period came back and my acne started to clear.

Ever since then it hasnt come back anddd my acne is. So I started taking in soy products and evening primrose capsules. Along with this im adjusting my diet to be healthier again and I’m going to go back to the gym. I started with the soy 2-3 days ago and the capsules.

I woke up this day and my face was veryyyyy red and irritated. Broke out.

But, last night I got really stressed out theres a lot going on in my life..
(example- fathers neck surgery tomorrow and moving in 4 months across the US.)

So is it the soy? stress? I know I need more sleep.. as a 16yr old 5-6 hours isn’t enough.

Best advice gets the best answer.
Help me equilibrium myself, thanks.

woah-slow down, breathe! have you been forgetting to breathe lately?

stress will do the strangest things to your body-period and acne can absolutely be accredited to it!

changing a lot of things in your life all at once will stress your body out even if you think it isnt. if you arent sleeping enough, then make sure to consume healthy, exercise and drink water!

even if you only sleep a few hours a night, statistically all you need is one good nights rest to recharge your mind and body. so set one night aside a week and make sure you get a full nights rest.

take some time to yourself to revitalize and recharge yourself. ever try yoga? or writing poetry? find something that is calming for you and devote some time a week to it. (for me, its painting)

just keep intake healthy, exercising, watch how much water you intake a day and rest up…

dont forget to breathe!

i wish your father the best in surgery and hope your move goes well. best of luck to you and your family!! and remember to breathe!
