All natural, herbal, organic products?
Question: All natural, herbal, organic products?
I have recently gotten into buying all natural, herbal and organic products. Whats the proper study for it? Anyway, my question is where can I find information about what apiece ingredient does. Id like to purchase soaps and shampoos for certain things but im not sure if it would help. Example, I would like an all natural anti aging, skin firming soap and lotion. What do I purchase for that? And for my face I would like an acne control wash and moisturizer. What do I use for that? And should I use anything else on my face? Shampoos im looking for anything to help with friz and dryness. I would also like some natural weight loss products, whats good for that? Is there a site that lists all ingredients and what that ingredient can do for you? (like green tea, shea butter, coconut, grapefruit, vita c.) I see lots of these lotions and soaps and face products but im not sure what they can do for me. So where can I find it actually spelled out for me online, of all these ingredients and what apiece can do for me? Thanks for all help!

Hey, Sarah Here,
My recommendation would be to hit up your local organic market (if it’s Whole Foods go when they aren’t busy) and talk to someone in the beauty products aisle. I know at Whole Foods they take classes so can be very knowledgeable. At a small, independent market they’ll be able to tell you quite a bit and recommend books and websites.
Like traditional products, most organic products will tell you what each is for. L’Occitane, for example, is organic, cruelty-free (they do use honey products), sustainable and free trade. Aveda is cruelty-free, sustainable and free trade, some proiducts are natural, some are organic. Each has information on the ingredients on their websites.
