Question: Acne. I can’t take it anymore…?
Ok to begin of I’m 15. My study is Amber. Uhmm I’m white. I’ve had acne since I was like 11. Yes I have started my period last year in may. Well I can’t take it anymore. I have acne coverin my forehead. It won’t go away. I’ve tried everything. From proactive to acne free. Which helped the most but it stopped. I have never been on acutane even tho I would try it. I rarely have allergic reactions to anything. I’ve tried natural things and chemicals. Herbs. You study it I’ve tried it. I’ve never been to a dermatologist I didn’t have health insurance for a long while. My insurance now is Health Plus. Money is tight in my family so I’ve never tried fancy things. I don’t know what to do. I can’t find dermatologists that accept health plus. I’m breaking down. I need help. Anything you can tell me to try I will try it. I’ve tried so much I think it will permanently ruin my skin. My acne ranges from cystic to white heads. My face is blackheads galore. Im always picking and scratching and leaving scars. I would try birth control. I just don’t know how to ask my mom. Please help me. I’m desperate.

You should absolutely go on accutane! I have been using it for about 2 months and my skin has nearly absolutely cleared up. Your dermatologist will advocate combining it with birth control, because of the 100% birth defect rate is a result of getting pregnant while on accutane. So if you have tried everything else and need a final solution, I think accutane is for you
