Question: 14 Year Old With Acne! =( are there any proven natural remedies?
It’s not considered severe, it’s more mild, but any natural remedies/facial oil reducers?

There is nothing natural except intake healthy junk
Try using proactive it works great for me

    my sister spent her teen years looking like a scarecrow because she didn’t want treatments that were not natural. her skin was just scary and disgusting.
    last year she changed her mind. it took a few doctor appointments and 4 months of pills and two weeks after the beginning of the treatment she looked like a supermodel.
    get a professional opinion if u ask me.
    but if u’re just paranoid and self-conscious for nothing, then don’t bother. :) just eat healthy and drink a lot of water and sleep for 8h every day and it should improve. :D

    since this question is in alternative medicine I assume you want all natural way to help your acne. First of all find out what you are allergic to if you have an allergy to something you’ll get acne.
    acne is a signal your body is telling you something is wrong inside!
    if it was easy as washing your face no one would have it.

    start eating more green foods like salads. Nothing helped more with my acne better then juicing I juiced cucumbers and green leaf lettuce which are great foods for the skin. also you might find out that your body just needs more vitamins take a multi vitamin once a day and please try to stay away from gunky greasy foods.

    next when it comes to washing your face
    MORNING
    1.use dr. bronner’s magic soaps the best one to use is tea tree pure castile soap.
    2. after washing your face put on 99% pure aloe Vera jelly (a good one that you can get at an herb store or health food store) let it dry completely
    3.the apply and oil free moisturizer one from neutrogena
    NIGHT
    1. wash your face with clean and clear daily pore cleanser which helps ex foliate the skin
    2 apply aloe vera
    3. then moisturizer
    remember to only wash your face twice a day hope this helps!

    the best way is to wash your face with hot water to open up your pores use a good astringent like seabreeze to cut down on the duration and severity of the pimples apply NEOSPORIN CREAM not the ointment there is a big big difference you will see a difference almost overnight! and it keeps your face from pitting.
    the reason we get acne is from dirt and bacteria in our pores neosporing has an antibiotic in it so it kills anything down in those pores…

    Something called Olive Leaf Extract, and flax seed oil and/or flaxmeal and/or fish oil (all of them would be best, but even just one will make a difference). It’s also important to eat healthy – lots of green leafy veg, fruit, wholegrains, seafood, moderate amounts of meat, very little to no dairy, very little “bad” fats. Also, drink lots of water and exercise regularly to help cleanse out your system. It will take time, but with a healthy lifestyle you’ll see results!

    You can Treat Acne with Turmeric. Turmeric acts as a bactericidal agent. It also reduces inflammation and improves the blood supply. Astringent action of turmeric is also beneficial for treatment of acne.

    I swear by some tablets (natural ingredients) you get from Holland & Barrett! They are about £4 (this about $7 if ya US based) and they are called Clear Complexion!
    If not your GP can prescribe things for acne also! x

    Mix lemon juice, rose water and glycerin in equal quantities. Apply daily before retiring to bed. Eat a lot of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, peas, lettuce, etc. A salad and fruit should be taken daily. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

    First and for most watch your intake of fried or greasy foods believe it or not alot of the concerns are because the body is overproducing toxins through your pours.
    try a apricot scrub in the shower daily followed by stridex pads after your face is dry, Mostly watch your diet it really makes a difference. good luck…if acne persists see dermatologist.

    Try a zinc tab daily. My neighbor, a nurse started her two teens on it when they started breaking out. Within a couple months, they had smooth skin.

    I would suggest a mild scrub, regular gentle soap and moisturizer. you may also want a facial oil. It sounds crazy, but the natural oils can be a great way to moisturize your skin without clogging it. See the website below. One product my husband uses on his face and head is the baldy sauce and it is a very light oil and works without blocking up his skin. I have heard that Proactiv is pretty harsh.
